STATUS: Exempt (Full-Time)
COMPENSATION: $ 40,000 – $50,000 annual salary (Based on Experience)

SUMMARY
Works directly under the supervision of the Controller. The key role of an Accounts Receivable Clerk
is to ensure the company receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions
accordingly. An Accounts Receivable job description will include securing revenue by verifying and
posting receipts and resolving any discrepancies.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Receives general supervision from the Controller.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintaining the billing system
2. Generating invoices and account statements
3. Performing account reconciliations
4. Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
5. Producing monthly financial and management reports
6. Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries
7. Assisting in general financial management and analysis
8. Present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to demonstrate proficient computer skills. Demonstrate good communication and people
skills. Must be able to work long hours during the rush periods.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
1. High School diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent. Prefer at least one year of related
work experience.
2. Requires advanced computer literacy skills and keyboard proficiency to operate in multiple
windows and manipulate files.
3. Requires intermediate to advanced skills in Google Documents & Microsoft Excel
4. Strong organizational skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management and
outside agencies.

5. Highly self-motivated and directed.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Work is performed in an office environment where appropriate clothing (i.e., no holes or rips in
pants, shirts, blouses, or any outerwear.)
2. Wear appropriate clothing, i.e., Clothing that can be deemed provocative is discouraged, e.g.,
no short shorts, no low-cut tops, etc.
3. Sitting (working at a desk), using a computer – up to 80%
4. Standing – up to 20%
5. Walking – up to 20%
