Accounts Receivable is to ensure their company receives payments for goods and services, and records these transactions accordingly

Hiring Location: Montrose, CO

SUMMARY
Works directly under the supervision of the C.O.O. The key role of an employee who works as an
Accounts Receivable is to ensure their company receives payments for goods and services, and records
these transactions accordingly. An Accounts Receivable job description will include securing revenue
by verifying and posting receipts, and resolving any discrepancies.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Receives general supervision from the C.O.O. With some general training and supervision from
Financial Analyst
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Wear appropriate clothing, i.e., no holes or rips in pants, shirts, blouses or any outerwear.
Clothing that can be deemed provocative is discouraged, e.g., no short shorts, no low-cut tops,
etc.
2. Maintaining the billing system
3. Generating invoices and account statements
4. Performing account reconciliations
5. Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
6. Producing monthly financial and management reports
7. Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
8. Assisting in general financial management and analysis
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to demonstrate proficient computer skills. Demonstrate good communication and people
skills. Must be able to work long hours during the rush periods.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
1. High School diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent. Preferred at least one year of
related work experience.
2. Work requires advanced computer literacy skills and keyboard proficiency to operate in
multiple windows and manipulate files.
3. Work requires intermediate to advanced skills in Google documents.
4. Strong organizational skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management and
outside agencies.
5. Highly self-motivated and directed.
